Nu-Shakya

The city of Neppon drifts through the shallows, where the walls circling the mortal realm are thin. Here the daemons gather out of the surrounding night, drawn by its promise of candle flame warmth. On neon-lit, rain soaked streets the city's police fight to keep its populace safe from infernal clutches, armed with a charmed revolver and a healthy attitude. Meanwhile, said populace remains more inclined to place its trust in their local Wiccan. While from their towers the rich look on, safe (or at least so they imagine) behind the blades of their Nu-shakya.

Nu-Shakya was my entry for the 2023 One Page Game Jam (design a TTRPG on a single side of A4) run by bigboygametime (check them out on here). It is inspired by my novel Harlem's Deck, which you can find on my Smashwords page. It's a bit of silly daemonpunk, designed to be played by a bunch of mates over cocktails. I hope you enjoy.
